The children learned so much, including: 🫀 Chest compressions (CPR) 🛌 The recovery position 🫁 What to do if someone is choking ⚡ How a defibrillator can help save a life

The children were completely engaged from start to finish, asked lots of brilliant questions, and loved every minute of it.

It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and confidence grow as they learned such important life-saving skills.

Our Summer Club children are in for a fantastic experience as St John Ambulance come to visit us and deliver some hands-on first aid training. 💚

The children will have the opportunity to learn important life-saving skills in a fun, interactive way, helping to build their confidence and understanding of what to do in an emergency.

We can't wait to see everyone getting involved and learning something new.

✨ What an incredible first week at Little Gems Summer Club! ☀️💚

What a week it's been! We've packed so much fun into just a few days, including archery 🏹, football ⚽, cricket 🏏, team games 🤝, water games 💦, arts and crafts 🎨, dancing 💃, and so much more!

The laughter, smiles, new friendships and confidence we've seen have made it such a fantastic week. A huge thank you to all of our amazing children, families and staff for making it so special.

We can't wait to do it all again next week with even more exciting activities and unforgettable memories!

🌞 Summer Club Starts Tomorrow! 🌞

We can't wait to welcome everyone to Summer Club tomorrow from 9:00am–3:00pm! We're looking forward to three weeks of fun-filled activities.

A few reminders before you arrive:

Please ensure your child arrives with sun cream already applied so we can get straight into our morning activities.

Children should bring a packed lunch and a named drink bottle. We will refill water bottles throughout the day. HAF children will have lunch provided.

Sun hats must be worn at all times when outdoors.

We will have regular hydration breaks and time in the shade to help everyone stay cool and safe.

As the weather is forecast to get even hotter over the coming weeks, we will encourage all children to reapply sun cream every two hours. If your child needs a particular brand of sun cream, please pop it in their bag. We also have SPF 50 sensitive sun cream available if needed.

If your child has any allergies or requires medication, please complete the medication/allergy form at the front desk when you arrive and hand any medication (such as inhalers, EpiPens or other essential medication) directly to a member of staff. Please do not leave medication in your child's bag.

Please pack a spare change of clothes, as we may enjoy some water activities to help keep cool!
