What a wonderful World Book Day at Charnwood Pre-school - Mountsorrel 📚💚

The children (and staff!) came dressed as their favourite book characters, and we loved seeing so many fantastic costumes throughout the day. From classic story favourites to some very creative outfits, the children had great fun sharing their favourite stories and characters together.

An insight into our Chinese New Year Celebrations here at Charnwood Preschool - Mountsorrel

Through play, the children have immersed themselves in Chinese Culture, dressing in traditional clothing, tasting the cuisine and 'travelling' (by imagination only!) to visit some of their well known landmarks.

They have prepared our role play home, cleaning it ready for a fresh start to the year, decorated it in red decorations to bring good luck and have gathered for meals with friends.

It’s been a festive treat at Charnwood Pre-school 🎄💚

The children enjoyed singing Christmas carols, tucking into homemade mince pies, and even had a very special visit from Santa himself 🎅✨

A lovely way to celebrate the season together and share some Christmas cheer 💚

Mrs Claus must really love visiting Charnwood Nursery & Pre-school Group… 🎄💚

After already popping into Charnwood Nursery & Pre-school - Thurmaston and Charnwood Pre-school & Out of School Club - Thurmaston, she travelled all the way from the North Pole again to visit Charnwood Nursery & Pre-school - Rothley and Charnwood Pre-school - Mountsorrel too.

She sat with the children to read ’Twas the Night Before Christmas and share a lovely, cosy moment together 📖🎅

We’re starting to think she’s a bit of a regular at our settings 😉💚

Yesterday we celebrated World Kindness Day at Charnwood Pre-school - Mountsorrel 💚

Our children spent the morning handing out sweets and carrying out little random acts of kindness with people in our community. These small moments made a big difference - and we loved capturing some of our “acts of kindness” along the way 💚

Our children from Charnwood Pre-school - Mountsorrel took part in the Remembrance Day service at the Peace Garden in Mountsorrel this week ❤️

They made a beautiful wreath to lay during the service and joined in the moment of reflection to honour those who have served and sacrificed.

We’re so proud of our children for taking part in such a meaningful community event 💚✨
