What did she want to be when she was younger : “ A teacher".

Next we asked her what her best life advice was and she replied with “Live your life and just enjoy it"

Our penultimate question was does she have any secret talents and she said, “Knitting and cooking , I have lots of hidden talents ."

Our last question was, what was the yummiest but strangest dinner you have seen at Millfield and she answered with a laugh “ Pizza and Jelly!"

Here are the important dates for next week! 📅✨

Year 1 had a fantastic trip Sudbury Hall and the Children’s Country House in Derbyshire!

They stepped back in time to a Victorian classroom, where a strict teacher reminded Year 1 that “children should be seen and not heard.”

Children practiced writing on blackboards and learned about the history of teddy bears while enjoying a toy hunt around the museum. We even experienced life as a Victorian chimney sweep by climbing up and sliding down a dark chimney.

Everyone loved learning about the past through these hands-on experiences! 🎉✨

We invite you to donate any type of bottle, so your child can wear non-school uniform on Friday, June 5th! 🎉

A huge thank you to Chartwells Catering for supplying 100 samples for our new admissions this August! The samples went down very well! 🎉🍽️

Year 4 has been hard at work designing their contributions for our exhibit at the Cosby Yarn Bomb! Each child has created a square representing a place in the world they feel connected to. A huge thank you to Mrs. Wills for stitching everything together to form a stunning display! Join us at the Cosby Yarn Bomb from July 8th-29th to see it live! 🌍✨

Year 6 have started a new art unit focused on sculpting! Children experimented with foil to create the base shape for their future Modroc projects. Their final creations will feature items typically found at a picnic. 🎨✨

🌼 Exciting news! Our Step into Spring Attendance initiative was a blast and we’re thrilled to announce another attendance challenge starting after the half term! 🎉

Every child who arrives on time every Monday will collect a stamp from their class teacher. 🌟 Collect all 6 stamps by the last Tuesday of term (7th July) and enjoy a refreshing ice pop at breaktime! 🍧 Let’s make every Monday count!
