π Pupil Voice in Action! π
Our Rights Respecting Ambassadors enjoyed working with Katie from Food for Life to help develop a new school lunchbox policy.
The children were incredibly enthusiastic and full of fantastic ideas about how we can encourage healthy, balanced lunchboxes while ensuring everyone feels included and respected. Their thoughtful discussions and suggestions showed great maturity and a real commitment to improving our school community.
This work links closely to: π Article 12 β Every child has the right to express their views and have them taken seriously. π Article 24 β Every child has the right to the best possible health, including healthy food. π« Article 29 β Education should help children develop their talents and make informed choices.
We are so proud of our ambassadors for using their voices to help shape school policy and make a positive difference for everyone. π

Sports Day Success! π
π
After having to rearrange our FS and KS1 Sports Day, we were delighted to finally enjoy two successful and sunny Sports Days! βοΈ
The children enthusiastically took part in a range of physical activities, including the egg and spoon race, hockey dribble and throwing challenges. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces throughout the events, with children showing fantastic sportsmanship by supporting and encouraging one another every step of the way. ππ
A huge thank you and well done to the Blaby Stokes Sport Ambassadors, who did an amazing job leading the warm-up at the KS2 Sports Day and then running the activities for our FS and KS1 children. Your leadership, enthusiasm and encouragement helped make the days such a success! π
Once again a big thank you to Countesthorpe Academy and their sport leaders for the support with running the events at the KS2 sport day.
Well done to all of our children for their fantastic effort, determination and teamwork. We are so proud of you all!

π A Heartfelt Thank You π
Our school was truly touched by a beautiful hamper gifted by one of our parents. This thoughtful gesture was given in appreciation of the support weβve provided to their child as they prepare to move on to secondary school.
We are incredibly proud of the journey this pupil has made, and it means so much to know that our care and commitment have made a difference.
xMoments like this remind us why we do what we do working together to help every child grow, thrive, and feel supported.
Thank you for your kindness. π

π¦ Wild Adventure at Twycross Zoo! π
Last Tuesday, our FS and KS1 children enjoyed a fantastic (and very warm! βοΈ) trip to Twycross Zoo.
The children had the opportunity to explore the zoo, discover a wide variety of amazing animals, and take part in a fascinating keeper-led session, helping to deepen their understanding of animals and their habitats.
The children were exceptionally well behaved throughout the day and were a real credit to our school. We are so proud of how they represented us!
A huge thank you to Trelleborg Group for making this memorable learning experience possible.
