It's time for the next step ✨
If your child is due to start primary school next September, applications are now open through your local council.

🗓️ Applications will close in mid-January but it’s always best to apply early.
✅ Please visit your local authority’s website to check the exact dates and submit your application in good time to secure your child’s place.

Under 2’s Teddy Bears Picnic 🧺

The children in Babies & Bobtails brought in their own teddy bears 🧸 to enjoy a summers day picnic with different fruits and foods to try, and the bears tried some too!

Early years graduation ❤️

What a way to say goodbye to all our friends and teachers! The children really enjoyed having there own graduation tea party, singing to their families and partying with their friends.

All the children were able to open their graduation bags and play with all the fun gifts inside.

From our children1st family to yours, we have enjoyed planning this celebration for you and your little ones, they have grown in confidence and are ready for their next big adventure!

All goodbyes are never easy but how lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard, we have shared experiences, laughter, and moments of joy. As we say goodbye, we cherish those memories we had as one big family ❤️

Eid Mubarak

We would like to wish all our children and families a happy Eid. Here are some of the ways we have been celebrating in nursery.

🌱🌱Cotton pad cress flowers🌱🌱
The Early years children have been getting creative with making flowers out of cotton pads. They put the cotton pads into a jug and stuck them together using water until they made the flower shape. The children then planted cress seeds inside to see if they would grow.

Pizza, pizza come and get your pizza. The Bobtails have been very busy making pizza. The children used spoons to spread the tomato sauce on their bases and then they enjoyed sprinkling the cheese on top. The children took their pizzas home and enjoyed getting to taste their tasty work.

We have had a busy few weeks with cooking in the nursery. The Peter Rabbits 1 children have had lots of fun making Rice Krispie cakes. The children enjoyed mixing the chocolate and krispies together and watching as they mixed together to make their own cakes. They also found it funny listening to the crunchy noise it made as they stirred. The children then took home their cake to share.
