I am an OFSTED registered childminder who has been working with children since 2006 in several environments and with different ages of children. Although my training never stops I started with a university diploma in childcare level 3 and a level 4 in early childhood studies. I then tempered my learning in various nurseries and schools over 12 years before setting up on my own. This year however has seen me advance my skills even further with a 12-hour training course in paediatric first aid, training in lead safeguarding as a designated officer and food hygiene training for food prep. All of this has allowed me to create a warm, caring and educational environment with fun at its core. While also ensuring I have Policies and Procedures that cover all aspects of my care that every parent or guardian agrees to, this ensures that I am consistent and that you know your children are safe and are more importantly having fun. I provide flexible childcare from 5 months to 8 years in a home to home caring environment. I promise to support your children in becoming caring, independent, fun-loving individuals just as you would do at home. I know that leaving your children with another person and going back to work is a BIG! step, I will make sure that your child is safe and happy while making sure I support you as your child grows, using tools that will let you feel you are there all day with us. I provide all meals (extra for Lunch and tea) and milk and fresh drinking water is provided. I offer £5 an hour please ask for more information

Welcome to Sams Jelly Tots

My childcare service is aimed at young children in the community of Narborough and neighbouring villages; providing childcare and early education for children aged 6 months to 5 years. I live in Narborough, Leicestershire.

Hi, I’m Samantha. I have lived in Leicester since I was a young child so a familiar face to many locals. I live with my husband of 12 years. I always knew that childcare would be my fort.

I began my career at Leicester College in 2006 where I had great support in completing my Diploma level 3 in Child Care Learning and Development. I have had experience working with children from birth; working as a Nursery Nurse, Sure Start Crèche worker and preschool practitioner.

I cannot think of a more rewarding career than supporting young people to be confident about themselves, independent and self-assured and smiling proudly as they move up to big school!!
