Supporting children & young people with autism, SEMH & complex needs. Send us a message with your questions👋

At Aspris, we support individuals to fulfil their potential, no matter what their challenges may be. We believe that everyone we work with, from children to adults and colleagues, can excel in their own way. We have three main groups of services which support the needs of children, young people and adults across the UK and the Middle East. They are:

- Children’s services in the UK
- Children’s

A homemade meal might seem simple, but for one of our young person it marks an incredible step forward in confidence and independence.

After spending time cooking a few meals independently each week, she decided to challenge herself by following a recipe and making spaghetti and meatballs for the whole house 😇

The meal was a huge success and everyone loved it.
More importantly, it was wonderful to see how much confidence she has gained through developing her cooking skills.

We are so proud of her and the progress she continues to make 👏

Last month, our young man from one of our care homes achieved something truly special when he joined his P7 classmates on their residential trip to Millport.

Just three months ago, he had been told that he would not be able to attend đŸ˜„

For many young people, a residential trip is a memorable time before moving on to secondary school.
It is a chance to build friendships, make memories and experience adventures alongside classmates.

The thought of missing out on that experience was heartbreaking.

But thanks to the dedication of the team at this care home, close collaboration with the school and a shared determination to find a way forward, that outcome changed.

Together, they focused on what was possible and worked tirelessly to ensure this young person could be part of this important milestone.

Over three unforgettable days, he embraced every opportunity that came his way.
He experienced rock climbing, orienteering, rock pooling and plenty of fun with friends, while building confidence and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Most importantly, he experienced what he later described as "the time of his life." 💜

This story is a wonderful reminder of what can happen when the right support, the right team and the right attitude come together.
We are incredibly proud of him for everything he achieved and grateful to the colleagues who went above and beyond.

What an incredible achievement for one of our pupils at one of our sites.

After winning her class, she has now qualified to compete in both the Novice and Discovery classes at the British Showjumping Junior National Championships this August 🐎🏆

This is a fantastic accomplishment and a true reflection of her hard work, dedication and passion for the sport.

Congratulations and good luck at the championships.

A young person wanted to talk.

And they had a lot to say.

But they didn’t feel safe enough to say it.

So we waited. We showed up. We stayed consistent.

Over time, they began to share how they really felt.

Therefore, what once looked like “no progress”

was actually the beginning of trust.

Some goodbyes are never easy because they remind us just how much a young person has grown.

After three happy years at one of our care homes, one of our young people has now flown the nest.

While we will miss him, it is wonderful to see him leave ready for the future and excited for what comes next.

Before leaving, he shared a heartfelt message thanking the colleagues who supported him throughout his journey and reflecting on how much he has grown in confidence and independence.

We are incredibly proud of everything he has achieved and the person he has become 😇

Sometimes all it takes is one opportunity for a young person to realise just how far their passion can take them.

One of our students recently attended The Installation Show at the NEC thanks to sponsorship from Draper Tools, where he took part in a presentation discussing why more young people are choosing careers in the trades. Speaking in front of industry professionals, he confidently shared his own educational journey and experiences 👏

The day also included tool demonstrations, networking opportunities and even taking part in a film promoting trade careers to other young people.
It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase both his skills and his enthusiasm for practical work.

After achieving an NVQ Level 1 in Precision Engineering at one of our sites, Coxlease School, and progressing to study construction at college, this student continues to build an exciting future.

As a thank you for their contribution, Draper Tools gifted them a professional sander worth ÂŁ500 which now has pride of place in their workshop.

We are incredibly proud of him 😇

A busy morning at Victoria Park CafĂ© turned into another fantastic opportunity for our young people to build confidence and learn new skills ☕

Today's team took orders, prepared drinks, chatted with customers, cleaned down surfaces and checked stock levels, showing brilliant teamwork and professionalism throughout.

They have enjoyed the experience so much that all three have asked to complete their Level 1 Food Hygiene qualification, which is an incredible achievement and a reflection of their growing confidence and ambition 👏

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Jason Mahoney, one of our fantastic fourth year students at one of our sites.

He has received a Citizens4Good Award from Sefton Council at a special ceremony held at Bootle Town Hall 🏆
This recognition reflects something we see in Jason every single day.
His willingness to step forward, support others and give his time to both the college and wider community.

Jason’s journey has been filled with moments that show his true character.
From his regular work supporting the PDSA and contributing to Arden Café, to always being ready to lend a hand wherever it is needed, he brings positivity and commitment to everything he does.

Most recently, he also took part in The Big Spring Clean, joining a community litter pick in South Park in Bootle. This reflects his strong sense of responsibility and pride in the community around him.

Although we will be saying goodbye to Jason in July, we know this is only the beginning of a bright future.

Sometimes it feels like nothing is changing.

You’re showing up. They’re getting support.

But they still won’t talk. Still seem stuck.

And that can be exhausting.

What’s often not visible is what’s happening underneath:

Trust is building.

Safety is being tested.

Your child is working out if it’s safe to let someone in.

That takes time.

At Aspris, we don’t rush that process.

Because when young people feel ready, not pressured, that’s when progress begins.

What an incredible week it has been at one of our sites, Rugeley School, filled with confidence, teamwork and creativity.

On Tuesday one pupil achieved a huge personal milestone during horse riding by getting on a horse and taking a few steps despite not usually liking animals 🐮

On Wednesday two pupils showed fantastic teamwork in a relay race, giving their all and supporting each other all the way 🏃

And today the boys enjoyed their first music session exploring instruments and getting ready to learn Beat It together đŸŽ¶

A brilliant week full of moments that show just how much our pupils are growing in confidence every day
