The Den Nursery

Making cards for here our children are enjoying a multi sensory experience with open ended materials from our art trolley. We absolutely love seeing the creations, the concentration, and the satisfaction in their faces. We often use a leftover large piece of card to protect our tables, this one tells the stories of fun and creativity from all the little artists at our setting. We wish everyone a happy Eid and happy Navratri to all those celebrating 🎉

Happy Mother’s Day from our Leicester city setting. Our Friday was filled with love and appreciation, to all the mothers, you’re doing amazing!

Our Leicester Setting Leavers enjoyed a trip to the farm yesterday. For a lot of these children this would’ve been their first time to a farm or seeing such animals. It was such a wonderful day with lots of smiles, laughs, hugs, and new experiences for all 🐑 ☀️

Both of our settings have received amazing feedback from their respective local authorities. Well done The Den and The Den Farmside, words from our assesor : “I am extremely happy after my visit today; your whole team do a wonderful job and thank you again for participating in the supervised toothbrushing scheme.”

Eid Mubarak and Happy Mother’s Day! We’re feeling the love here at The Den and the children have enjoyed crafting and baking for their loved ones too, wishing everyone a blessed day ☺️💓🙌

Good evening all parents and carers

We would like to invite you, children, children alumni, and parents to The Den’s 1st Christmas Fayre!

This will be held Saturday 14th December 10am-1pm at the nursery, where the staff will be hosting lots of activities including visiting Santa, a tombola, a raffle, lots of crafts and messy play for you and your children to play in, along with external craft stalls to source some lovely gifts.

Siblings and families are welcome and we will advertise more information soon.

If you have anybody in mind who would like to host a craft stall (£10 per table), or have any donations you’d be willing to gift for our tombola or raffle, we would be very grateful. If you could let myself, Jenny or Megan know!
