Today we were visited by our very own ‘Joseph the giant African snail’ 🐌

Lindsey kindly brings Joseph to visit each year when he comes out of hibernation.
Lindsey is Joseph’s mummy 🩷

The children truly love this ‘Owe & Wonder’ experience, helping to really capture ‘Knowledge & Understanding of the World’ into their learning 🌍

Lindsey talks to the children about Joseph’s life, including what he likes to eat 🥒

The children ask lots of excellent questions, including ‘why is he so big?’ And he is big compared to the small ones we see in nurseries garden 🪴😂

Joseph shall be visiting several times over the coming weeks with Lindsey so he gets to meet lots of the children 🐌 💙🐌
