A huge thank you to one of our parents who came in today to do a special talk with the children to support βDeaf Awarenessβ week.
Lots of information was shared about our hearing and Ishwaree showed the children an Otoscope and a hearing aid which they got to hold and look closely at.
Ishwaree played some sounds for the children to recognise both with their ears covered and not. The children really enjoyed this interactive learning style.
Cookie Paula volunteered for Ishwaree to look closely at her ears and the children were very exited to watch π
Ishwaree gave all of the children some colouring pens & paper to take home π‘
Well done to all of our children for sitting so nicely and listening super well π
And a HUGE thank you once again to our parent for giving up her time to come in and help our little ones to learn π€π
