Great to invite my sensei from my previous karate style to to help with the class!
That’s the beauty of Freestyle Karate that we can adapt and evolve and learn from other styles. 5th Dan Sensei Lee from ran through a variety of hand strikes and kick combinations and my students loved it!
We held our first karate tournament and our students at were AMAZING! They competed in their first fighting competition and many of them came in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in their category! Fighters competed in the under 8yrs, girls under 15yrs, boys under 15yrs, Men's Amateur, Men's Intermediate and Advanced Open categories.
We are so proud of our students for achieving so much in only a year...I'm sure that they'll achieve bigger and better things!! 👊🏾 🥋

What a way to end a tough day at work with our karate class at followed by some toe-to-toe sparring to get rid of all the day’s stress!
Well done to all our students for their commitment and thanks to all the black belts who help with the classes.

Great to see so many of you at our last karate class of 2022! We ran a "fun" class for our students with festive games with a karate twist...included 12 days of Christmas (students had to perform 12 different combos for each day), Sensai Says (the karate version of "Simon Says"), lots of races, rag tag (students had to block others from getting a tag attached to their belts) and we ended with jumping kicks! And everyone was getting into the spirit as the wining team for each game could choose the "punishment" for the losing team...burpees were the worst!

So proud of our students at Sepoy Freestyle Karate] who were graded yesterday for their blue and red belts! It was a tough grading for our students, but they were ready and they put in 110%! The grading was tough and we really had to test them, but so inspiring to see how these adults and children have progressed over the past 6 months and I’m certain that they will go on to achieve bigger and better things! Well done! 👊🏾 🥋

Perfect way to unwind after a stressful day at school, college or work…we hold karate sessions in the park which end with sparring whilst the sun sets!

Amazing to run our second karate class at with just under 30 students…returning students from last week and also new starters! Already seeing improvements in technique, skill and stamina. Well done everyone and looking forward to seeing you again next week! Osu
