Before we opened Elixir Skin Training, we founded elixSKIN which is our skincare clinic offering a range of skincare and aesthetic treatments aimed at transforming our client's skin and providing lifechanging results for them. Elixir Skin Training offer Ofqual regulated Qualifications in Beauty & Aesthetics and we are a VTCT and Focus Awards approved centre. We also offer CPD approved accreditation for existing practitioners and courses include training in dermaplaning, microneedling, nano needling, microdermabrasion, LED Therapy and Chemical Peels. We believe in delivering high quality services and training that are personalised to client and student needs. All training sessions are 1-2-1 or small groups of 2, allowing you to become fully trained, qualified and confident in the skill before you complete the course.

You can't jump straight into Level 4 advanced skin treatments. And that includes medics too — being medically trained doesn't mean you can skip ahead.

Level 2 builds the basics of how to actually perform a facial — something medics never learned as part of their clinical training. Clinical knowledge doesn't cover hands-on skin treatment fundamentals. Everyone starts at Level 2, no exceptions.

Advanced treatments build on that foundation. Skip it, and Level 4 has nothing to stand on.

There are no shortcuts here — only foundations. Start at Level 2. Build it properly.
