Year 4 enjoyed making pizza rolls this afternoon as part of their DT lesson. They learned about the nutritional benefits of fresh ingredients and discussed how these foods can help us stay healthy. The children were excited to prepare and taste their own creations!

Reception children have been using their phonic knowledge to describe the characters in ‘Owl Babies’!

Shyam class enjoyed making their own soup in DT and explored the differences between fresh, healthy soup and tinned soup. The children discussed the nutritional value of choosing fresh foods.

These children have been learning how to use base 10 dienes to represent numbers up to 10,000. They have been exploring place value and identifying the number of thousands, hundreds, tens and ones in different numbers.

As we celebrate 15 years of Krishna Avanti Primary School, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has helped shape our school into the vibrant, caring, and inspiring community it is today.

Year 5 have been exploring how to make 10 using dice in order to create a straight line (row, column or diagonal)! They really enjoyed working out where to place the digits to that they had a better chance in winning the game!

In year 2 we have been revisiting place value and have been partitioning numbers into tens and ones.

In year 2 we have been mark making on different textures. As well as this we have been listening to music and seeing how it makes us feel, then mark making to represent that feeling.

Our Reception children had a fantastic time trying their hand at archery! Lots of fun, focus and fabulous aiming!
