**10:10 Pupil Shoutout**

A huge congratulations to Caiden (Y8) on his fantastic climbing achievements!

Just before the summer holidays, Caiden successfully passed his NICAS Level 3 at Peak Climbing Centre.

As if that wasn't impressive enough, on Friday night he finished 3rd in the Peak Climbing Squash League Competition. The competition began on 6th August and ran over four weeks, culminating in the final on 4th September.

Each week, Caiden completed between 10 and 20 climbs, demonstrating incredible commitment, perseverance and determination. Competing against other talented climbers, he finished 3rd overall in the Junior Section.

This is an outstanding achievement, especially as it was only his fourth competition!

Well done, Caiden. We are incredibly proud of you and all that you have achieved.

Piano Jam is back! Starting on the 17th September, pupils will have the opportunity to turn up and play the piano during breaktime, to a captive audience getting their snacks from the canteen.

Welcome Back!
On Wednesday 2nd September, we look forward to welcoming both returning and new pupils to school.
Pupils will remain with their form tutors throughout the day, receive their timetables, and prepare for the year ahead. Our regular curriculum timetable will commence on Thursday 3rd September.
We can't wait to begin another exciting academic year together!

The countdown is on!
We're looking forward to welcoming our new pupils and seeing all our returning students back in school very soon.

Just a reminder that Tuesday 1 September is an INSET Day, so pupils should attend from Wednesday 2 September.

Before the first day, please check that pupils have:
• Full school uniform
• Correct school shoes
• A pencil case ready for Smart Start containing: Blue or black pen, Green pen, Pencil, Ruler, Rubber

Please also remember:
• Mobile phones must be switched off and kept in bags (not blazer pockets)
• No smart watches

We're excited for another fantastic year ahead and can't wait to see everyone back in school!
