Reading Recruits with Nursery and Reception:

✨ We sang c for car and k for key with props
✨ Phonic Fox brought sounds tubs and the children had to antic the initial sounds of the objects to the flash cards
✨ We retold the story of Chicken Licken with actions and repeated phrases
✨ Chat Cat bought his day and night Talkabout cards and we listened and talked about the sounds we heard
✨ We read How to Catch a Star for the last time and recalled many events from the story with Book Bear.

Today was the second time I shared the magic of Reading Fairy session with these little ones. It was so rewarding seeing their confidence grow and practising their speaking and listening skills as we talked about day time and night time animals and making the noises the animals would make. I can’t wait to see these skills continue to develop next week. ☺️

I’m very excited to be offering Reading Fairy classes at The Chapell Centre from next Wednesday 12th November!

There is a cafe downstairs open from 9:30am along with toilets and baby changing facilities. There is a lift which can take you to the first floor where Reading Fairy classes will take place.

There’s lots of room for your little ones to dance and play as they develop a love of reading with Reading Fairy and her friends.

Toddlers Tales (from 12 months +) starts at 9:30am-10:10am
Story Stars (from 2 years +) starts at 10:20am-11:00am
