Dan had already done some easy scrambling but was keen to progress to harder and bigger objectives. So we spent the weekend together journeying him through grade 1 all the way up to Grade 3 and into Diff rock climbing.
Great weekend and some amazing weather.

Great day out last week with an amazing German couple! We spent the morning teaching them to build solid belays, which was the perfect next step after they had already established a solid trad climbing foundation back in Germany. They were quick learners, and it was fantastic to see them pick up the skills so effortlessly. We then spent the afternoon on a tour of the Roaches exploring some of the routes on offer, and the weather was perfect.

A moody trip up Curved ridge a few weeks ago.

Did ou know we run trips up to Scotland?

Becoming an independent climber is a big milesone!

Our Becoming Independent course starts you off on that journey. If you are looking for a more advanced start or already know how to climb safely inside / have some outdoor experience, jumping straight onto this course to advance your knowledge is absolutely fine with us.

Cullin Ridge, Isle of Skye

Last week saw us out with the McLean family. We had a week together, James and Stu sucsessfully did a RIAD (Ridge in a day) while Shep took the rest of the family up the Inn Pinn (Jessica aged 10 wasnt fased at all and took the day in her stride). The rest of the week was spent rock climbing at Neist Point and getting up some other scrambles in the Cullin. Great week, thanks team McLean!

Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye is one of the most impressive ridge lines in the UK, It's as close to climbing in the Alps as we have in the UK. Book one of our trips and we will tick off some of the best scrambles the mountain range has to offer but also see us attempt to traverse the ridge line in one push. If an available weather window presents itself the traverse normally takes 2 days with a Bivi half way and sleeping under the stars on this iconic ridge is a memory you'll never forget.
