And no, you don’t need to be able to explain exactly what a Marmite factory smells like at 7am.

UK Medical & Event Services is looking for FREC 3s, FREC 4s, ECAs, Technicians and Paramedics to join our team in and around Burton upon Trent.

We’ve got more work coming in the area, so rather than dragging our oatcake loving lot halfway across the Midlands, we'd like to open the doors to good people on the doorstep.

Flexible bank work and opportunities for all grades from FRECs through to Paramedics.

We’re heading into another super busy August weekend!

Thankfully, temperatures are set to be a little kinder than they have been recently, which our teams out on the ground will definitely appreciate!

We’ve got crews heading out to football stadiums, agricultural shows and council activations, providing medical cover and helping to keep everyone safe while they enjoy their weekend.

A huge thank you, as always, to all of our team giving up their weekend to support some fantastic events.

You’ll work alongside doctors, nurses and paramedics, providing care to attendees at football matches. A background in A&E, Emergency Departments, Urgent Treatment Centres or Minor Injuries is preferred.

Matchdays include evenings and weekends.

Its been so busy, we almost missed our own birthday! UK Medical & Event Services is 10!

Usually working on your birthday isn't great, but given its what we do, it seems pretty fantastic!

Forest Live Thetford, Delamere, Westonbirt and Cannock. Cheshire Show. Crewe Picnic in the Park. Trentham Concerts. Pink Ribbon Walk Edinburgh.

We're out this weekend at Cannock Chase Forest and Westonbirt Arboretum for the Forest Live concerts.

Becky Hill, Fatboy Slim, UB40, McFly, Billy Ocean, Rick Astley, Richard Ashcroft, Deacon Blue!

Forests can be a challenging place to deliver events, but we love to get our steps in and the tee shirt tan game is going strong!

Its been a super busy day for the team in Sutton Coldfield for their annual fun run.

The 8.5 mile route crosses the town and enters Sutton Park, where runners head back to the town centre to complete their run.

The team covered the route with 5 paramedic double crewed ambulances, 7 teams of first responders, a paramedic on a rapid response vehicle and finally, our electric cycle response unit.

Connected by 4G communications, we were dispatched by our control room who worked closely with traffic and marshal teams.

What a weekend!

Our teams have been all over the place, Milton Keynes, Chatsworth, Stoke, Chester, Leek, and Alstonefield. Covering everything from LARP and endurance walks to professional and amateur football.

Different events, different challenges: keeping people well and making sure organisers can get on with running their events.

Massive thanks to every member of the team who’s been out this weekend.

Long days, plenty of miles, and a lot of moving parts, but we've smashed it.
