Herbs picked from the garden, scissors, water and a tea set has provided lots of fun cutting, mixing, pouring, smelling and lots of talk too.

Making her own sandwiches for a picnic. Great fine motor activity especially when cutting and putting on the butter. We also used mathematical language such as half, most and less. It was also a great time to talk about healthy and unhealthy food.

Not the tidiest of activities however it kept us busy. We built the ramp then experimented using all sorts of objects and seeing how far they went. We discussed distance, shapes and their properties.

Water colours are a great way to paint. They’re much easier to clean up after and we enjoy lots of colour mixing too. ☺️

Nice little fine motor activity today. Face painting a doll 😂. We also talked about mixing colours too.

We bought this set off but you could use screws and a screw driver and find something soft to screw them into. This activity is great for hand eye coordination and fine motor skills. You could even turn it into a shape or repeating pattern activity.

We learnt our letters today through craft.

Today we saved a Bee 🐝. We’re obsessed with honey and where it comes from so you can only imagine how excited we got 🐝🐝 We talked about why he needed the sugar and how important Bees were. This then led to a little creative Bee craft 🐝💕
