☀️ Leeds Wellbeing Week ☀️

We had so much fun working with last week providing two super fun dance classes as part of their schedule for the week!😁

This included our weekly Dance For Beginners class with where we traveled back in time and had the ultimate school disco party! 🥳

We also held our first Men Who Groove class with which we absolutely loved and hope to hold many more, so please drop us a message if this is something you'd like to see more of! 🙌🏻

🥁 Charity Reveal 🥁

We are very excited to finally announce that this year we will be fundraising for our wonderful neighbours at during this year's annual Celebration of Dance show! 🎉

Smart Works Leeds is an incredible charity based in Mabgate Mills that helps unemployed women with clothing and coaching to get the job and transform their lives. More than two thirds of clients supported by Smart Works Leeds secure employment within a month of their appointment. 👭 Dream Team Day Out 👭

👋🏻 Meet Tamsin 👋🏻

Meet our for the month of May, Tamsin! "As a newcomer, an incredibly talented dancer, who has 100% commitment, has overseen personal obstacles & become a rock in the group supporting choreography & the other dancers" says who she was nominated by! 🙌🏻🤩

Tasmin has been attending classes at the studio for around 1 and a half years now, and here's what she had to say about the studio:

“I love the community that’s been built here. It’s a great opportunity to keep up with dancing! I’ve met some lovely people in class and have really grown in confidence over the past year."

We are super excited to be involved in again this year, taking place 1st-7th June, and we have two very exciting classes involved in their schedule! 🤩

🕺🏾 Men Who Groove / Wednesday 3rd June 7:30-8:30pm

Our Adult Male-Identifying Dance Class is a relaxed, welcoming space designed for those who want to move, try something new, and build confidence - no experience needed. This class is all about exploration over perfection. You’ll be introduced to a mix of dance styles and inspired by different music genres, giving you the chance to experiment with movement through fun, energetic dance routines in a way that feels good for you.

🪩 Dance For Beginners (School Disco Bangers) / Thursday 4th June 8:30-9:30pm

Join our weekly Dance For Beginners Class for a School Disco Bangers themed class. You can expect your classic party floor fillers for our warm up, followed by a mash up of 90s/00s hits for our main routine, including the likes of S Club, Steps & more!

Both of these sessions will be at the discounted price of £2 for this week only, so get booked on and come and give it a try! The perfect way to unwind after a long day! 🙌🏻
