What an amazing day we’ve had at Temple Newsam Farm today ☀️ we loved seeing all the different animals, including some baby animals who had just been born in the last few weeks 🐮🐑🐐🐓🫏 Temple Newsam Farm

Our Summer Term group have loved their first two sessions of Forest School so far. We’ve learnt how to tie knots over our boots and this week applied our learning to making dens ⛺️ so much fun!

What a lovely Easter service we had this afternoon at St Margaret's Church Horsforth

Last week we planted lots of new herbs into our growing area in our mud kitchen. We’re excited to help them grow and look after them before we can start to use them in our mud kitchen recipes ! 🪴🍃

This half term Reception did an artist study of Henri Matisse. We particularly liked his piece ‘The Snail’ and were inspired to create our own abstract art pieces that are now on display for everyone in school to see!

One of our cozy set ups for our Bedtime Stories evening today. We loved welcoming the children back to school in their pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers and we enjoyed hot chocolate from our PTA whilst listening to some of our favourite stories! Thank you so much to everyone who came 🥰

Our Spring 1 Forest School group enjoyed their last session this week toasting marshmallows on the campfire … how lucky and exciting ! 🔥⛺️

After our walk down Horsforth Town Street yesterday, today we mapped out our journey and labelled some of the key buildings or features we saw!
