Hey folks! We're incredibly excited and proud to announce that our very own Charlie Jewison has been chosen to play Zac Mooneyham in the York Stage production of School Of Rock at the Grand Opera House York. This will run from the 13th - 21st of September and the ticket link is in the comments.
As you all can imagine Chaz had to audition with many other guitarists so to be actually picked to play the part is a huge achievement and a great testament to his talents.
Mitch and I can't wait to see this show ourselves and I'm sure Chaz would love to see some friendly faces from our wonderful Twang music community there too.

Huge congratulations to Euan on passing his Classical Guitar grade 2 with ABRSM Royal Schools of Music. Euan has really enjoyed learning these challenging instrumentals and is developing into an accomplished player.
We're now taking a few weeks out to learn some of his favourite songs before embarking on grade 3!

🔥 SPECIAL STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT 🔥
Well we couldn't be more proud of this young man Kylan Dodd. He's just been awarded a DISTINCTION for his Rockschool electric guitar grade 3 exam with a massive 91% of the marks and to say he is over the moon would be a huge understatement!
The key to his success we feel as well as being a very talented player is his huge passion for music which he carries with him all the time. He's greatly influenced by The Beatles and Chuck Berry and his ambition in life he says is to make the guitar great again!
What a fabulous ambition to have Kylan and a huge congratulations from all of us here at Twang!

🤟 Resurrection 🤟
Here's my 1977 American Fender Stratocaster which I purchased back in 1986. I'd always dreamed of owning an original Fender and so scrimped and scraped to save up the £400 to buy it.
It travelled with me on all the Muldoon tours, chucked in the back of our van and thrown around countless stages across the globe, it was my work horse and my word did it work hard.
It became unplayable a few years back seriously needing a re-fret but the very talented Mr. Wayne Wallis came to its rescue and duly delivered it back to me Tuesday.
I honestly cannot describe how beautiful it sounds and I can hardly put it down, so, watch this space to hear it in action once again very soon!
