Ready For Kick Off ⚽

The children enjoyed getting creative as they made their own England flags ahead of the big match.

Using paint and colour to create their designs, the children had lots of fun taking part and joining in with the excitement and atmosphere together. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying the opportunity to create and share in the moment.

After all their hard work and support, it was lovely to see England go on to win their first game too, making the celebrations feel even more exciting ❀️⚽

Activities like these give children opportunities to express themselves, explore creativity, and connect with events happening around them in fun and meaningful ways ✨

Knights, Castles & Adventures 🏰

The children had a wonderful time exploring the world of castles, knights, and dragons through stories, imaginative play, and creative crafts.

After looking at castle-themed books and small world toys together, the children enjoyed designing and making their very own knight helmets. They loved using their imaginations as they role played brave knights and created their own magical adventures.

Activities like these help encourage creativity, storytelling, communication, and social interaction, while giving children the opportunity to learn through hands-on play and exploration βœ¨πŸ‰

Little Bakers at Work 🍰

The children had so much fun getting stuck into some baking activities this week.

Wearing their chef hats and taking turns mixing the ingredients together, they loved helping to create their tasty treats from start to finish. There were lots of smiles, concentration, and excitement as everyone joined in.

The children have been developing their early writing skills through dot-to-dot word activities β€” carefully joining the dots to form letters and simple words.

This type of activity supports pencil control, letter recognition, and confidence in mark-making, all while making learning feel fun and achievable.

It’s wonderful to see the children taking pride in their work as their writing skills continue to grow. ✨

To celebrate Recycling Day, the children transformed everyday materials into their very own puppets. Using items that might usually be thrown away, they designed, decorated, and brought their creations to life.

This activity encouraged imaginative thinking, problem-solving, and conversations about how we can reuse materials and care for our environment.

It was fantastic to see so many unique ideas and characters come together, showing just how creative children can be with a little inspiration. 🌍
