Pippins Nursery - Morley Private childcare day nursery in the heart of Morley. Private childcare nursery in the heart of Morley, Leeds. We cater for children from 3 months to school age.

We also offer wraparound care for children attending Seven Hills Primary School. Pippins has an open door policy and you are welcome to visit at any time. Pippins will provide your child with a warm and cosy environment which will satisfy both their needs and yours. It is our aim to ensure that all children achieve the five outcomes of the Every Child Matters policy.

Colour Outside the Lines! 🎨

Sometimes the best creations start with a little paint and a lot of imagination.

The children enjoyed exploring colours, textures and movement as they experimented with paint in their own unique ways. There were no right or wrong answers, just plenty of opportunities to discover, create and express themselves freely.

At Pippins, we encourage children to explore with confidence, try new ideas and enjoy the creative process just as much as the finished result. Activities like this help build curiosity, independence and a love of learning, all while having lots of messy fun! 💚

Over the weekend, Yorkshire Day gave us the chance to celebrate the county we're proud to call home. From our wonderful families to our amazing little learners, we're so grateful to be part of such a warm and welcoming community here in Yorkshire.

Learning, Their Way! ✏️

At Pippins, learning doesn’t always mean sitting down with a pencil and a worksheet. Sometimes it’s getting messy, picking up a paintbrush and exploring an idea that captures your attention.

From spotting letters and familiar words to drawing, painting and experimenting with different materials, the children are encouraged to get involved, explore and learn in ways that feel fun and engaging.

By bringing creativity into everyday learning, we give children the freedom to stay curious, have a go and discover more about the world around them. 💚

Wild About Learning! 🦒

The children enjoyed getting hands-on as they explored different materials to create their very own giraffe-inspired sensory activity.

Scooping, pouring and arranging the cereal encouraged plenty of conversation, imagination and curiosity as the children discovered new textures and brought their ideas to life. It was lovely to see everyone exploring the activity in their own way and enjoying the creative process together.

Open-ended activities like these give children the freedom to experiment, make choices and build confidence, all while learning through play and exploration. 💚

Busy Little Creators! 🐝

The children have been getting stuck into another colourful and creative activity, using different materials to explore shapes, textures and their own ideas.

With a little bee-inspired fun along the way, they enjoyed pressing, arranging and experimenting as they created their own colourful pieces. It was lovely to see everyone concentrating, getting hands-on and approaching the activity in their own way.

Wild About Creativity! 🦁

The children have been getting hands-on and letting their imaginations lead the way as they explored different textures, colours and materials.

Using pasta and other colourful pieces, they enjoyed scooping, arranging and creating around their lion, with everyone approaching the activity in their own way. There was plenty of curiosity, concentration and fun as they explored what was in front of them.

At Pippins, we love giving children the freedom to experiment, discover and enjoy being creative in ways that feel exciting and engaging. 💚

Keeping Cool, Having Fun! 💦

With the warmer weather here, the children enjoyed cooling off with some fun water and ice play.

Using a variety of toys, containers, and natural curiosity, they explored pouring, splashing, scooping, and discovering how the ice and water changed throughout the activity. It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged, working together, sharing ideas, and having lots of fun in the sunshine.

As well as helping everyone stay cool, water play encourages children to explore, investigate, and build confidence through hands-on experiences, all while making the most of a beautiful summer’s day ☀️💧
