To start our new Geography learning all about weather the year 1 children practiced being weather presenters. We discussed different types of weather and how this is measured. We discussed the role of weather presenters and meteorologists. Great job year 1!
Nursery Ladybirds Class 🐞 This week the children have explored how to make thier own patterns. They have shown lots of curiosity to use a range of natural objects from outside and resources from inside to create their own patterns

Puffins are learning all about sports in the Olympics and Paralympics. This week they made the Olympic torch and looked at opening ceremonies.

Today in Computing, Year 2 used ScratchJr to practise their coding skills. They learned how to find the start of a program and enjoyed running their own sequences of commands. The children worked really well and showed good understanding.

Year 5 have participated in the follow up Road to RIAT session, learning all about STEM careers. We were inspired by two individuals who work with planes, real engineers. The children learned about their careers and even joined the live quiz!

Year 6 had a wonderful afternoon completing their bookends! They had to sand their pieces of wood and then stick them together. They also came up with some excellent designs to finish the look! Well done Year 6!
