Last week, we completed another HENRY Parenting Programme with this wonderful group of parents at Horsforth CC 💚

What an incredible journey it has been! We are so proud of each and every one of you for your commitment, openness, and dedication throughout the course.

We hope you found the programme helpful and that it has given you valuable tools and confidence to support your family's health and wellbeing. Wishing you all the very best on your parenting journey - we know you'll continue to do amazing things!

‼️ Important Update for Families ‼️

As part of the city-wide Children's Centre Review, from 17 July 2026, the Headingley, Horsforth and Ireland Wood Children’s Centre will no longer operate from the Horsforth Children’s Centre base at Broadgate Primary School (North Broadgate Lane, Horsforth, LS18 5AF).

While we transition to a new location, children's centre groups and activities will be paused during the summer holiday period. We will share further information with families as soon as our new base is confirmed.

Please be assured that the Children’s Centre service will continue, and individual family support will remain available for families living within our catchment areas of LS18, LS16 and LS6 throughout this period.

Thank you to everyone who came to our Pyjamarama UK Stay & Plays last week! 💙

Together, we raised £60, which will be donated to the BookTrust charity to help give every child access to a bedtime story. That's incredible, and we are so grateful for your support!

‼️This week, there will be no Stay & Play on Friday at Ireland Wood.

Put your PJs on and join us as we celebrate the Year of Reading and help raise money for BookTrust, supporting their mission to give every child access to a bedtime story. We are asking for a minimum cash donation of £2 per family.

There will be lots of fun activities, including:
