Our children enjoyed a wonderful Montessori-inspired sensory and practical life activity, exploring, scooping, transferring, sorting and creating with colourful materials. 💜💙💚💛❤️

Using spoons, bowls and chopsticks, the children developed their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration and independence, while enjoying the freedom to explore at their own pace. ✨

🌿💛 Spreading the Leeds Montessori Spirit! 💛🌿

On our way to enjoy some amazing fun at Roundhay Play Park, some of our Chestnut children were busy spreading the Leeds Montessori spirit to people enjoying their daily walks! 👋😊

It was lovely to see the children confidently greeting members of our local community, sharing smiles, and making new connections along the way. We love giving our children opportunities to explore their community, build confidence, and enjoy positive interactions with the people around them. 🌳✨

🦆🌿 A Wonderful Day at Roundhay Lake! 🌿🦢

Our babies enjoyed a lovely day exploring Roundhay Lake and taking in the sights and sounds of nature. The children were fascinated as they watched the ducks, geese, and swans swimming across the water, sparking lots of curiosity and excitement.

Outdoor experiences like these provide wonderful opportunities for children to connect with nature, develop their observation skills, and explore the world around them. It was a calm and enjoyable outing filled with fresh air, new discoveries, and plenty of smiles!

What a lovely day for our little explorers! 💚

🥕🌽 Chopping, Exploring, and Learning! 🌶️🥒

Our Sycamore class have been putting their chopping skills into practice using a variety of fresh vegetables. With careful supervision, the children enjoyed preparing the vegetables while developing their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and independence.

Food preparation is an important part of the Montessori curriculum, helping children build confidence through real-life experiences while encouraging healthy eating habits and an appreciation for fresh ingredients.

Well done, Sycamore! We loved seeing your focus, care, and enthusiasm. 🌿😊
