Our lovely Reception children were thrilled with their visit from our local PSCO’s. Thank you so much for taking time to visit us.

Over the last two weeks PCSO’s Simpson and Austin, have been out in the community and visiting local primary schools including:

Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School
Grimes D**e Primary School
Kippax North Primary School

The PCSO’s visited nursery and reception classes, delivering ‘People who help us’ Pol-Ed lessons. The PCSO’s were also privileged to be invited to join Grimes D**e school pupils, for their Christmas Dinner.

The PCSO’s thoroughly enjoyed speaking to all young people, praising them for their wonderful participation in the lessons and their kind invite, to join the schools Christmas Dinner celebrations. 🎅🍱🤶

A special thanks to the schools for welcoming the PCSO’s in, and all the young people for their positive behaviours and attitudes to school and learning. 👍🏆

Following our recent S48 RE inspection we have been graded Outstanding in all areas! We are so proud of our wonderful children, staff and governors!

Was your child born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 then they are due to start primary school in September 2025.

The deadline for primary school applications for starting in Reception in September 2025 is next Wednesday 15th January.

FAITH CRITERIA
-If you are applying for admission under our faith criteria, you will also need to send a completed Supplementary Information Form (SIF). School needs to receive this by Wednesday 15th January 2025.

or a paper copy can be collected from the school office.

The Supplementary Information Form (SIF) must be returned to the school along with proof of baptism or a copy of your Child’s baptismal certificate if your child is a baptised Catholic/Eastern Christian Church.

Weather forecast tomorrow

We are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone back for the start of the new term tomorrow but the weather may have other plans.

Due to the snowfall today and the forecast of further snow overnight, we will be delaying the start of the school day tomorrow morning until 10 am. This decision has been made to allow for safer travel for both pupils and staff and to assess the conditions on-site.

The situation will be reassesed in the morning and I will confirm if any further arrangements are required by 8am based on a site risk assessment and staffing levels.

I understand that this may cause some inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.
