Year 2 had a visit from Roy who is part of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
He came into speak to the children about the RNLI and how stay safe when visiting the seaside.
This is in preparation for their trip to Scarborough next Wednesday 24th June.
The children cannot wait for it!
Today, Year 4 had a fabulous trip to Leeds Industrial Museum in Armley. They learnt all about the roles children played in the mill and the houses rich and poor families lived in. We were also lucky enough to have a visit to the school room. I think most children agreed that life in school today is much more fun! The museum staff commented on how amazing the children were, along with them really representing our school so well! Thank you to our parent volunteers as we couldn’t do these trips without you.

Year 6 had a wonderful trip to Mission Out this week, which was part of ‘Adventure Week’. The popular activities were the Tower Jump Pillow, the lake activities, the woodland area and the water fountains. They had a great day out taking part in adventurous activities!

2NB have had a great morning den building. They showed great resilience, communicated well as a team to create their own dens. The dens were that good that they kept the children dry!!!!

Yesterday was a very exciting day in Year 6 as they received their highly anticipated Leavers hoodies! Thank you very much to the Friends of Waterloo who subsidised the cost of the hoodies.

William’s Den Reception, KS1 and Year Adventure Day out.
We were so lucky with the weather the children had an amazing time, exploring all what was on offer, playing with each other across the different year groups whilst stepping out of their comfort zones.
