Cultural Insight is an opportunity for students from around the world to share an insight into their culture with other fellow students in informal settings. The opportunity is open to students from all level of studies.
Nowadays, we are studying, working, living in a multicultural environment and it is important to be aware of different cultures/traditions. Leeds University Business School is hosting Cultural Insight event every Wednesday from 12:15-12:45, where students will be given the opportunity to gain cultural awareness, meet new people and exchange ideas. Furthermore, students can also book a slot to become speakers and enhance their public speaking and presentation skills without the pressure of being graded.(It’s not compulsory for the presentations to be solo, which means that students can do a presentation with a friend, who is from the same country/city). There are still slots available so make sure you do not miss that opportunity! For any questions and more information please email [email protected].

We are looking for someone who is from Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Slovakia or Slovenia who would like to participate and prepare a short, 10 to 15 minutes presentation that could be about anything in relation to the country - traditions, festivals, food, stereotypes and any other desired topic, It can include videos and will be held next Wednesday - 14/02/2018 and the Wednesday after (21/02). Don't miss the opportunity to add another extra curicular activity to your CV, for more details email [email protected]
