A huge congratulations to our T2 Work Skills students who successfully completed the BEAM Project delivered by KIER Construction!๐ŸŽ‰

Throughout the programme, students gained valuable employability skills and industry insight through a range of exciting activities, including a careers carousel with local employers, a site visit to Leeds Town Hall, a CV workshop with Hayes Recruitment, and mock interviews with KIER professionals ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ผ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ผ

The project concluded with a presentation recognising their achievements, followed by a fantastic tour of Elland Road Stadium.๐ŸŸ๏ธ

We are incredibly proud of the confidence, professionalism, and commitment shown by all. Experiences like these help prepare our students for their future careers and inspire them to aim high. ๐Ÿ‘

Our students recently took part in a Health MOT at the Hamara Centre, where they had their blood pressure, height, weight and BMI checked. ๐Ÿ˜ท๐Ÿฉธ

This experience linked closely to their health pathway focus this term, providing a valuable opportunity to learn more about the importance of healthy lifestyle choices and how they can positively impact overall wellbeing. ๐Ÿ’ช

A huge thank you to the team at Hamara Healthy Living Centre for delivering this session and supporting our students in developing their knowledge, understanding and awareness of health and wellbeing. ๐Ÿ’œ

Our students put their creativity and kindness to work by designing our Feel Good Friday board! ๐Ÿ’œ

Each message was thoughtfully created in Options class to spread encouragement, gratitude, and positivity to staff and fellow students. Sometimes a few kind words can make all the difference. โœจ

Our students have recently completed their Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze Award Residentialโ€™s at Bramhope Scout and Activity Centre and Nell Bank Outdoor Education Centre and what an amazing experience it was for everyone involved! ๐ŸŽ‰

Students took part in a range of exciting activities. At Bramhope, students enjoyed a scavenger hunt around Otley Chevin, pizza making, campfire activities, a low ropes course and archery. ๐Ÿน๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ”ฅ

Meanwhile, students at Nell Bank challenged themselves with an assault course, pond dipping and many other fun outdoor activities that encouraged teamwork, confidence and resilience. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’ช

For some students, this was their very first experience staying away from home overnight, making their achievements even more significant. Every student showed resilience, independence, positivity and teamwork throughout the residentials, and we are incredibly proud of everything they accomplished.

Congratulations to all of our students on successfully completing their Bronze Residentialโ€™s, you should all be very proud of yourselves! ๐Ÿ‘โœจ

We are so proud of one of our students, Bradley! Well done, what a fantastic achievement!! ๐Ÿฅณโšฝ๏ธ

Congratulations to Bradley, one of our Pan-Disability players who has been asked to play for Leeds United. He is an amazing player and young man and we as a coaching team are so proud of him.

Bradley is a massive Leeds fan so we are so happy he gets to join them.

Bradley will still be a part of our team and attend training when he can.

Good luck, we know you will be an asset to them
