Are you interested in 1-to-1 acting and speech classes in Leeds?
I have experience preparing children from ages 6-18 for examinations with LAMDA in Solo Acting, Verse and Prose and Shakespeare examinations. The children have achieved a 100% pass rate with all children being awarded a distinction or merit in their exams. Children have also prepared for local speech and drama festivals, including the Wharfe dale Festival in Ilkley.
LAMDA exams are perfect for any child who wants to increase their public speaking and communication skills. Through performing monologues or poetry, the children will develop in confidence and creativity and a LAMDA qualification will make any CV stand out. They are in line with the national curriculum- Level 2 awards (Grades 4 and 5) are equivalent to GCSEs and Level 3 awards (Grades 6-8) are equivalent to A Levels and due to the high prestige of the exam board, children taking Level 3 awards receive extra UCAS points. These are very helpful and if your child falls just short of their university offer, a LAMDA qualification may just get them into their first choice university.
I have completed my LAMDA examinations up to Grade 8 and have taught in drama schools around West Yorkshire. I also work for a local stage school as an Early Stages leader and have experience in teaching acting workshops and performing arts classes. I am also fully DBS checked.
