Our progress so far with out outdoor area.

As some people know nursery was subjected to a car ramming into the outdoor area.
The area was fully trashed with the outdoor fence also knocked down and needing to be fully rebuilt.

our ew mud kitchen is custom made for us and we think the progress is amazing :)

The children (and staff) have been busy working on there designs for our 'decorate a door' competition and the finished products are complete!
They all worked hard and they look super spooky (and cute) but it wouldn't be a competition without a winner.

This week we have had 'Harvest' 🚜🌽🧅🍓themed tuff trays.

The children have had the opportunity to learn about different fruit and vegetable and how these are produced, grown and harvest. in the Butterflies room the older children have also started to learn about the transportation of the foods we eat and how they go from the farm to the supermarket.

We have also talk about donating food/giving back to the community that provides for us and we are taking this opportunity to re introduce our 'Take it or Leave it' food bank in Nursery.

🔴Intended Learning -

This week we intend for the children to develop the knowledge and understanding of the world around us, learn how things grow and change over time, and how different foods are grown and produced.

Children will also have the opportunity to reflect on what they have and what they are thankful for and what we as a nursery can do to support people in the community.

The children will harvest our own vegetables that we planted over the spring in the garden and observe the changes that have occurred since they were planted.
