♀️ Women Overcoming Barriers in Consulting- Monday 25th from 6.30 pm at Riley Smith Theatre

Join us on Monday for a panel discussion and networking event in collaboration with Accenture, featuring many more top consulting firms.

This event will be a collaboration between two of the biggest societies on campus: LUU WILS and LUU Consulting.

We will deliver a panel discussion and networking event in collaboration with Accenture and will feature top consulting firm panellists, such as EY.

This will see conversation on gender equality in this industry and facilitate female leaders on campus to pursue this area with confidence and reassurance.

We will have 4 panel members from across differing companies and career stages who will answer questions sent in from attendees prior and then we will open the floor for a speed networking session (in a covid secure way).

We will also have giveaway goody bags for the most engaged attendees and a prize to win a 1-1- 1 hour mentoring session with consultants from Accenture!!

Our society partner, Leeds Finsights, is hiring!

Run by fellow University of Leeds students, Leeds Finsights, is a business, economic, and finance publication producing bi-weekly newsletters for its subscribers. Financial analysts write engaging articles with the main goal to boost commercial awareness of Leeds students, promoting their employability.

They’re currently hiring for a position on the management board as a Junior Marketing Executive, and Financial Analysts.

As a Junior Marketing Executive, you will be creating engaging content to promote on their social media platforms while working closely with the Head of Marketing.

Their Financial Analysts are tasked with writing articles for their newsletter, synthesising key current affairs, and economic issues for students. The Analysts are also trained by an award-winning Financial Times Editor and you will have access to exclusive Bank of America career opportunities.
