Sphere Summer of Smiles…

Moortown Primary is a ‘single-form entry’ school. This means we take only one class each year and so have one class in each year group. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

What a busy week! We've seen some great performances... Year 5 and Year 6 worked really hard to perform two showings of 'The Amazing Adventures of Superstan'. There was some brilliant acting talent and great singing plus a few superstar children who stepped in at the last minute because of illness. Great performances from all! Yesterday, Year 2 children celebrated their reading progress with their parents and carers in their Ready to Read assembly....
