Corpus Chrisi Primary Prayer Garden.. phase 2 completed.. The children have already planted up the natural wood planters with help from our very own Mr Dallas as part of our Growing to Learn Organically project.
The Catholic priest, Cannon Pat, as the children know him, will be holding a blessing ceremony with the whole school shortly..

Many schools received a special Oak tree to mark the Queen's platinum jubilee celebrations..

Maintenance revist 7 years after we installed this wholly Natural EYFS garden.. (No Nasty poisonous treated wood) Just our usual Natural durable UK sustainable timber.. No issues found, just a top up with our path grade woodchip on this visit.. lovely to see a well used Natural garden standing up to the rigours of EYFS..
Teachers and Nurseries be aware that treated wood has artificial chemicals impregnated into it to kill life..

A revist today by North London teacher .cookies.classroom to the Outdoor Classrooms sawmill nr Leeds to collect more Free NATURAL resources for a KS1 Play and Learn provision.. The first visit was in October 2021, and today's visit was to refresh the Natural resources, including natural untreated wooden resources and a selection of plants to develop a natural education garden.
To promote the Natural is best message, Outdoor Classrooms is once again offering free natural resources to education and childcare settings. The aim is to displace chemically treated wood and synthetic materials from children's education gardens and replace with healthier natural alternatives from UK sustainable sources.
Either DM to arrange a visit to collect for FREE or order a delivery of FREE Natural resources on our website (link in bio) and pay for the postage and packaging.

Snail race at Rosliston forestry visitors centre.. Just delivered another snail to the collection.. This is the 4th one we have carved in the last 15 years for Rosliston.. They are a great attraction for visitors..
