Established in 2002, the Leeds University MSc in Medical Imaging is run within the Division of Medical Physics. Our course allows students to benefit from exposure to a range of clinical imaging techniques with teaching from lecturers who are expert in their clinical use. Mercy Akerele awarded PhD

We wish to congratulate Mercy Akerele for passing her viva last Friday and practically obtaining her PhD (pending some minor changes).

Mercy's work has led in two journal articles published while one is still under review. Her most recently published article will soon feature in the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology as the outcome of applying her novel methodology on the 18F-NaF PET-CT study from David Newby's group (Edinburgh).
