What a fabulous time we had at our Sports Day last week!

Thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us and cheered the children on.

All of the children participated brilliantly, showing excellent team work, sportsmanship and resilience.

A cricket coach visited our school today from Yorkshire cricket. Year 3 impressed our visitor with their batting skills.

This afternoon in year 3 we worked in groups making a variety of 3d shapes. We practised describing 3d shapes using the terms vertices, edges and faces. Can you spot the 3d shapes we made?

The weather conditions this week were perfect for sowing the seeds in our bee and butterfly garden. We need a few dry days now to do our outside painting using our designs. Watch this space !

Today, the children in Nursery were fascinated by a dinosaur book that one of their friends brought in to share. 🦖📚

This sparked an interest in becoming authors and illustrators, leading the children to create their own books. They enjoyed drawing pictures, sharing ideas and telling their own stories! ✏️📖✨
