This one is for the history lovers out there, Leeds is a city with a varied and vibrant history and an abundance of museums to reflect it!

1. Thwaite Watermill - a fully functioning water-powered mill and industrial museum, woollen cloth has been manufactured at this site since 1641.
2. Royal Armouries Museum - displays the national collection of arms, there are 5 galleries with over 4,500 objects and plenty of interaction opportunities!
3. Thackray Museum of Medicine - step back in time to the streets of victorian England and explore the advancement of Medicine through the ages with waxworks and exhibits relating to all aspects of medicine from dentistry to surgery and home remedies!
4. Leeds City Museum - this is one of our oldest attractions, it opened in 1821! From fossils to fashion and the ancient world this museum has something for everybody and features a Leeds Stories Exhibition to tell the history of our city from the first inhabitants to the inventions that turned it into the bustling metropolis it is today.

These are just a few highlights of the many Museums on offer just a short walk or taxi ride from our campus!
