Art Camp UK is looking for young people across Harrogate to help distribute flyers almost immediately to promote our exciting Summer Art Camps.

We’re looking for reliable, friendly young people who know their local area well and would be happy delivering leaflets through doors in family neighbourhoods across Harrogate to help spread the word about our camps.

Hi Parents

Our May Half Term camps are nearly here and bookings are already starting to fill up fast across Leeds.

We’ve got an absolutely brilliant few days planned packed with creativity, adventure, animals, games and hands-on workshops led by our amazing artists and visiting practitioners.

This May Half Term we’ll be running:

St Paul’s Catholic Primary School LS17
Tuesday 26 May – Thursday 28 May

We’re especially excited that the alpacas are returning this half term alongside goats, hens and outdoor animal experiences that the children absolutely love.

Activities across the week include:

• Create a Techno Tune with Vince using drum machines and synths
• Arts & Crafts
• Pop Singing
• Printmaking

As always, camps are designed for children aged 5–12 and combine creativity, confidence building, movement, play and imagination in a fun, welcoming and energetic environment.

Our resident artists, musicians and practitioners create a really special atmosphere each holiday and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back again.

We’re really looking forward to another brilliant half term.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick one to remind you to book on for May half term.

We’ve made a really nice change to the DJ sessions. Vince is now taking it further and running a “make your own techno track” workshop. The kids will be learning how to build beats on a drum machine, create basslines on keyboards, add chords on synths and even have a go at writing a rap over the top.

It’s a proper introduction to making music rather than just DJing, although they’ll still get a chance to have a mix on the decks as well. We’re excited to see how this one lands.

For May half term we’re running:

St Paul’s (LS17) – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
This is mainly for continuity for the children who already attend and families in the local area ahead of summer.

At St Paul’s we’ve kept the same team from Easter. Katie and Sue are back, along with Mark, Lauren and all the artists the children already know. It makes a big difference when they walk in and recognise everyone, and we can carry on from where we left off.

Bracken Edge (LS7) – Tuesday to Friday
This is our new site and it’s a really good one. Loads of space, goats, hens, proper outdoor feel. We’re hoping this becomes a long term home for Art Camp, so it would be great to see some of you there. There’s still a discount code running for Bracken Edge if you’re booking on.

Summer is now fully live as well. We’re running at St Paul’s, St Mary’s in Horsforth, and Bracken Edge which will be open for the full six weeks. Not many camps do that, so we expect it to get busy.

We’ve also introduced a payment option where you can secure your place with 10% and spread the rest up until the start of camp. We know it helps to have a bit of flexibility, so use that if it makes things easier. If you need a bit longer, just message me.

If your child enjoys Art Camp, please do tell people. WhatsApp groups, school chats, anything like that really helps. Bracken Edge actually came from someone in the community reaching out, so it genuinely makes a difference.
