👩‍🍳 Year 10 Hospitality & Catering Visit to Darley Street Market 👨‍🍳

Yesterday, our Year 10 Hospitality and Catering students enjoyed an exciting and enriching trip to Darley Street Market. 🍽️
Working alongside a professional cookery school, students had the opportunity to develop their culinary skills in preparation for their coursework next year. They also explored the vibrant range of food stalls and products across the market, gaining inspiration and insight into the food industry.

We were delighted to hear fantastic feedback from the cookery school staff, who praised our students for being respectful, polite, and enthusiastic throughout the day.

It was a highly valuable and enjoyable experience, with lots of new skills and knowledge gained. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the visit such a success!

🌟 Celebrating Sixth Form Success at Temple Moor Sixth Form 🌟

We’re delighted to share that Temple Moor High School and Sixth Form has been recognised among the top sixth forms in Leeds, ranked 7th overall in recent coverage by the Yorkshire Evening Post, based on Department for Education (DfE) performance data.

This recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of our fantastic students, alongside the unwavering support from our staff. With 30.8% of students achieving AAB or higher, this is a brilliant achievement and a testament to the high standards we strive for every day.

⚽ Champions! ⚽

Huge congratulations to our Year 10 boys’ football team, who have been crowned Leeds Champions following a fantastic 2–0 victory against Farnley! 🏆

The final, played at Leeds Beckett University on Wednesday 13th May, saw goals from Henry Simpson and Jenson Mallory secure a well-deserved win and round off an outstanding season. 👏

The team also completed an incredible double, having already clinched the league title before the cup final.

A brilliant achievement by all involved — we are incredibly proud of the team’s hard work, determination, and success! 💙

A huge thank you to Laura Norman from ChromaGB for visiting our school to deliver an inspiring marketing workshop for our Year 12 BTEC Business students.

The session was a fantastic opportunity for students to gain real-world insights and develop key skills in preparation for their Developing a Marketing Campaign exam.

We really appreciate Laura sharing her expertise and helping to bring marketing to life in such an engaging and practical way!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our Performance Team at the recent Dance Live! 2026 Finals!

Following an unforgettable finals performance, Temple Moor were thrilled to be announced as winners of the Vernon Vogue Award. Chosen by the official Dance Live! photographer, this special award recognises a moment that truly captures the essence of a performance through the lens.

⚽️ Temple Moor Through to the Champions Cup Semi-Final! ⚽️

A fantastic performance from our Year 10 boys football team sees us booked into the Champions Cup semi-final after an impressive 5–1 victory against Benton Park.

Goals came from Callum, Ollie, Henry, Oscar and Jenson, showcasing a great all-round attacking display and teamwork throughout the match.

A special mention goes to Charlie G, who put in a solid and commanding performance at centre back and was deservedly named Man of the Match.

Well done to all involved—a brilliant result and we look forward to the next challenge!

🏉 Friday Night at Headingley 🏉

On Friday, we were delighted to take a group of students to watch Leeds Rhinos v Catalan Dragons at Headingley Stadium. It was a fantastic evening of rugby league and a brilliant opportunity for our students to experience the atmosphere of a live professional sporting event.

Before kick-off, our students proudly took part in flag-bearing on the pitch, soaking up the crowd’s applause and making memories they won’t forget. Everyone had a great time and represented the school exceptionally well throughout the evening.
