What a fantastic start to the new school year!

It has been great to have all of our students back in school and to see them looking so smart, confident and ready to learn. The school has been full of energy and excitement throughout the week.

Our new Year 7 students have made a wonderful start and are settling in really well. We are so pleased to have them as part of our school family and look forward to watching them thrive over the coming years.

We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer break and enjoyed some well-deserved time with family and friends.

Today, our staff returned to school to complete training and make final preparations ahead of welcoming students back tomorrow.

A particularly warm welcome goes to our new Year 7 students, who will be joining us. We know there may be a few nerves and a lot of excitement, but we can't wait to meet you and begin your journey with us. We are looking forward to helping you settle in and become part of our school community.

A reminder that tomorrow is a staggered start:

✅ Year 7 - 8:25am start
✅ Years 8, 9, 10, 11 & 13 - 9:45am start
✅ Year 12 - Enrolment Day (all day)

Year 12 students will return to lessons on Thursday 3 September.

We are excited to welcome everyone back and look forward to a successful and enjoyable year ahead. See you tomorrow.

🎉 GCSE Results Day 2026 🎉

A huge congratulations to all of our GCSE students receiving their results today.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, resilience and determination that have brought you to this milestone. It has been wonderful to see students celebrating their achievements this morning, and we look forward to welcoming more of you as results collection continues until 11:30am.

🎉 GCSE Results Day 2026 🎉

Good luck to all of our Year 11 students collecting their GCSE results tomorrow! We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved and look forward to celebrating this important milestone with you.

📅 Thursday 20 August
⏰ 9:30am - 11:30am
📍 Main Hall

Students should enter the Main Hall through the fire doors, where staff will guide them to collect their results.

For those joining Temple Moor Sixth Form, enrolment will take place immediately afterwards in the Sixth Form Common Room. Staff will be on hand throughout the morning to help with enrolment, destination forms, and to offer advice on alternative Post 16 pathways where needed.

Before leaving, students should ensure they speak with a member of staff in Reception to confirm their intended destination.

🎓 A Level Results Day

We’re looking forward to welcoming our Year 13 students back to TMHS to collect their exam results this morning.

📅 Date: Thursday 13th August
🕘 Time: 8.00am – 11.00am
📍 Location: Sixth Form Common Room

Students should enter via the Sixth Form reception to collect their results.

Staff will be on hand to celebrate your successes, hear your exciting next steps, and offer any support you might need.

Remember – whatever your results, you have achieved so much - you all worked so hard and showed great commitment over your time with us, and we are incredibly proud to have been part of your journey.

🌟 Golden Success for Isla and Leonie in Italy🥇 🌟

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the fantastic achievement of Isla Chadwick and Leonie Morrison, who have been representing Great Britain as part of the Leeds Gymnastics Display Team in Italy.

Competing against teams from across Europe, the girls and their teammates delivered an outstanding performance, securing a Gold Medal on Saturday. This is a remarkable achievement and reflects the hard work, dedication, and talent of everyone involved.

Despite the soaring temperatures, the team has been performing brilliantly and will take part in another competition later this week. We know Isla and Leonie will continue to be wonderful ambassadors for both their team and our school.

Congratulations to Isla, Leonie, and the entire Leeds Gymnastics Display Team on this incredible success. We wish you the very best of luck for the next competition.

🌟 Fantastic Achievement for Indie & Zac! 🌟

We are absolutely delighted to share the fantastic achievement of Indie and Zac, who attended the World Freestyle Dance Championships at the end of June.

Competing against some incredibly talented dancers from around the world, Indie and Zac rose to the challenge and delivered an outstanding performance. After some tough competition, they achieved an amazing 2nd place, becoming World Championship Runners-Up in the Under 16 Girls/Boys Championship Pairs event.

This is a remarkable accomplishment and a true reflection of their hard work, dedication, passion, and determination. We are all proud of the fantastic duo that Indie and Zac have become, both on and off the dance floor.

Congratulations to you both on this well-deserved success! We can't wait to see what the future holds and where your dance journey takes you next.
