I am an OFSTED registered Childminder and have an Ofsted *Outstanding* grading. I offer a homely environment with a good structure in place.

I have been Childminding since 2008 and I am qualified to level 3 with Paediatric First Aid. I continue to add to my professional development by attending lots of training courses on a regular basis. All the children work towards the Early Years Foundation Stage and have profiles in place to track their development. We do lots of fun activities during the day which you will see from my page.

This week we have a vets role play so we can learn about taking care of our toy animals and discuss how to keep them healthy. We will explore community occupations through dressing up too. This will support the development of communication and language, creativity and an understanding of the people who help us in the community ๐Ÿ‘ฎ ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ› ๐Ÿง‘โ€โš•๏ธ ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ๐Ÿ‘ฒ

Today one of my minded children chose to come and support Josie at her football match. It showed kindness, encouragement and a real sense of belonging. I feel so proud to see how the children I care for become such a special part of my family life. These moments remind me how important connection, care and togetherness are. I feel very lucky to have all my amazing families with me โค๏ธ

This week we are exploring imaginative play in a Gruffalo Cafรฉ inspired by The Gruffalo for World Book Day. The children can use tweezers and loose parts to prepare food. We even have poisonous warts! This will support fine motor development, communication, cooperation, and early maths skills through counting, sorting, and role play. We also have the Gruffalo fuzzy felt to create characters and scenes inspired by The Gruffalo, developing fine motor control, creativity, and storytelling skills while exploring imaginative play and language. ๐Ÿญ ๐ŸฆŠ ๐Ÿฆ‰ ๐Ÿ

There are lots of different symbols on our sand table to look and copy, making marks with intention. Our world map will support early geography skills as we match labels to countries! We can cook up a delicious meal in our restaurant too! Looking forward to a lovely week back after half term! ๐ŸŽ ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ ๐ŸŒ ๐Ÿœ
