📚 Our Second Pop-Up Bookshop Success! 📚

On Thursday 18th June, we held our second Pop-Up Bookshop in the hall, and it was wonderful to see so many families there.

Every child was able to choose two free books to take home and keep.
Thank you to the Children's Book Project for the books they donated to school. 🫶

☕ SEND Coffee Morning – Friday 19th June at 9am

Our SENDCo - Miss Banyard, will be hosting another Family and Friends of SEND coffee morning.

This is a relaxed and informal space for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities to come together, share experiences, and support one another. It’s also a great chance to meet Miss Banyard and chat through any questions or concerns you may have.

Oral language plays a vital role in children’s learning, literacy and social and emotional development.

Our latest guide supports parents and educators with practical, evidence-informed strategies to help children build school-ready language skills.

The guide explores:
• Building oral language through meaningful interaction
• Supporting listening and attention
• Growing children’s vocabulary
• Sharing stories and naming feelings
• Working with settings to spot and support language needs
• Using evidence-based approaches to meet individual needs

With language developing rapidly between the ages of two and six, early support can make a lasting difference to children’s confidence, communication and readiness for school.
