The Psychology Society at Leeds University! PsycSoc is the departmental society for Psychology students and those interested in Psychology.
It is headed by a committee of 10 psychology students who are here to create a smooth transition for you into university life. They are on hand for course guidance, planning excursions, networking and putting on a wide variety of social events in order for you to make new friends on your course and also other courses. If you're considering applying for a position on the committee, I would strongly recommend this (there isn't much competition at the mo!). If you would like to find out about any of the roles, including President, please don't hesitate to contact me!

PSYCSOC ARE RECRUITING A YEAR ONE AMBASSADOR. This person needs to be willing to attend events, encourage their year group to attend events and make announcements in their lectures. To apply please e-mail a paragraph of why we should pick you as our ambassador to [email protected] by Friday 25th October midday. Applications should be no longer than 100 words and those submitted after this deadline will not be considered.

TONIGHT: The comedy starts at 8.30pm tonight at the Library Pub! Doors open at 8pm. It does get very busy so if you want a good seat get there in good time. You will need ID to get in and remember your tickets! It is upstairs in the function room and there is a bar upstairs!
ALL YEARS: from 3.30pm-4.15pm tomorrow come and get your 'no curfew' cards if you are a member of PsycSoc and your new membership cards. We will have a list of names.
