Have been debating past 2 hours if I should move the neighbour’s cat Simba from my desk! 😂

He likes to pretend he’s a deep sleeper so not to be moved. I’ve been tidying instead of using my laptop.

What do you think I should do last hour of working day? Leave him be? Or move him and get on with a bit of admin?

Dots out of dots - ha, ha. 😂

Cut these today despite listening to podcast from Steve Barlett this morning to prioritise “The signal, over noise” tasks. Guess I’m just a flawed human.

So, back to my main tasks, after 2 hours messing with papers. 😞 Serious stuff that needs doing.

But interested to know what do you think of dots in dots? Too much? Just lovely?
I think it hits my “excess buttons” quite nicely.

The Dots were let loose this weekend on tasselled bookmarks . Plus debut of some new cards!

So glad the sun arrived and and I survived the wind in our gazebo. Many moments of “grab the tent and art” 🌀😂🌟🌀

Thanks to Hannah for giving me the chance for my first ever craft fair- dream come true!

so many months later after your workshop session, I had my card stand and dots workshop combo up and running. I loved it, the fundamentals worked and I have loads of ideas for the next (including your top tip of the look of the back 😂) Thank you so much for the guidance and encouragement.

I absolutely loved the experience of running a craft stall / pop up workshop. I think I’m hooked for life. 💛

But not gazebos! 😂

Stall preparations for tomorrow 📆 🌼 My cat liked the tinsel and new place to relax at least 😂

The dots will be coming out to play and a few new card designs.

Such a lovely vibe right in front of .other_studio where I enjoy a desk with this view 💛

What’s a favourite launch event you’ve been to? What made it so special?

For craft to be pleasurable from the jump, it needs to be easy and with great materials.

I’ve spent months researching the most lovely circle cutters I could find and sourcing beautiful vibrant papers.

A definition of pleasure is “a feeling of happy satisfaction and enjoyment”.

Well so far about 80% say “Oh that’s so satisfying” when they pop their first dot - so maybe that’s a moment of simple pleasure too.

Fun and flowy to make and give.

Personalised gifts for loved one using their favourite colours/ styles.

These particular earrings were made from recycled coffee cup paper made and dyed in Hull by artisan papermakers.

Just one of the items we’ll be making at the launch event on the 5th April. 🍹✨🟡🌟
