Phase 1 almost done!
A great couple of weeks at BAM - Calverley Building, Leeds Metropolitan University, we're almost complete and ready to hand our work back for use by the student's and staff of Leeds Met! We've also accomodated a 2 student visits, 3 client visits and erected a banner with our partners Leeds Metropolitan University to display our joint commitment to Leeds and the students who study here! What's happening next? Lots of cleaning, and adding the finishing touches... Cloud point surveys of the finished project, a bit of BIM, thermal imaging and an air test to prove how far we have come in improving the facilities. Christmas is in there too (somewhere) so our tradesmen can get a well deserved rest ready for phase 2 in the new year!
BAM will be lecturing at Leeds Metropolitan University on Thursday as part of our ongoing (and much valued) partnership. We look forward to meeting lots of new people, sharing ideas, and speaking with future industry leaders.

There have been a great many goings-on lately on site - internal demolition, asbestos removal, concrete repair and refurbishment, plastering, glazing, decorating...
Overall the Project is progressing excellently and we are on target for our handover before Christmas!
