🌟 Hey everyone, as we gear up for the bank holiday weekend, let's make sure we prioritise safety while having fun! Whether you're heading out for a night on the town or staying in with friends, here are some important tips to keep in mind:
1️⃣ Stick together: Always stay with your friends and look out for each other throughout the night.
2️⃣ Plan your journey: Make sure you have a safe way to get home, whether it's a designated driver, public transport, or a trusted taxi service.
3️⃣ Stay hydrated: Remember to drink water in between alcoholic beverages to stay hydrated and avoid overindulging.
4️⃣ Trust your instincts: If something doesn't feel right, trust your gut and remove yourself from the situation.
5️⃣ Keep your belongings safe: Keep your belongings close and be aware of your surroundings to prevent theft or loss.
6️⃣ Know your limits: Pace yourself and know when it's time to call it a night. It's okay to say no to another drink if you've had enough.
Let's make sure we all have a fantastic time while staying safe and looking out for one another! Have a great bank holiday weekend! 🎉

Celebrating Ramadan in an Early Years setting is a great way to teach children about different cultures and traditions.
Here are some suggestions of activities to do within your own setting.
- Decorations - Children can participate in making crescent moons and stars, which are traditional symbols of Islam and Ramadan.
- Learning Basic Words - Teach children some basic Ramadan related words in Arabic like "Ramadan Kareem" (Happy Ramadan), "Iftar" (breaking of the fast) and "Suhoor" (pre-dawn meal).
- Story Time - Practitioners can read stories to children about ramadan. It helps children recognise that people around them may have different beliefs and practices, promoting tolerance and acceptance
