🌊 Reception Class Water Safety Visit 🌊

Today, Reception had an exciting visitor who shared an important message about staying safe around water, especially at the beach.

A special thank you to Puddleducks, Wakefield, for delivering such an engaging and informative talk. The children learned some very important water safety rules, including:

⭐ Always stay near a trusted adult when playing in or around water.
⭐ If you need help in the water, float like a starfish and stay calm.
⭐ Call for help and ring 999 if someone is in trouble.

We found out about what the different coloured beach flags mean to help keep us safe.Did you know? 💜 A purple flag at the beach means there are dangerous sea creatures in the water!

The children listened brilliantly and enjoyed learning these valuable life-saving skills. Well done, Reception Class! 👏

As the weather gets warmer, please help your child stay safe by sending them to school with a water bottle, a sun hat, and sunscreen applied before school. Please see the attached poster for more information.

Herd Farm update:

**Time update: ETA 2:25**

The coach is here. We will be leaving in 10 minutes. Our ETA back at school will be 2:15pm. We will go to the back gate, please park considerately and avoid parking near the gate to allow the coach to enter.

We will drive in to the gate, lock the gates and unload the children. We will run a similar system to home time.

we are packing up all our things ready for us to leave. We will update this Facebook post when we are leaving with our ETA. The children are very excited to see everyone when we get back. 🚌

Y4 Herd Farm: Group 3 have faced their fear of heights on the Giant Swing!

Y4 Herd Farm: Group 2 have had a great last morning tackling the obstacle course and archery.

Y4 Herd Farm: Group 1 have had a great last morning working as a team crate stacking!

Y4 Herd Farm: Good morning!! We have all had our breakfast, we are packed and ready for our final activities!!

Group 3 have tested their archery skills, tackled the assault course and shown great team work during the crate stacking!!

Group 2 have worked as a team during crate stacking and tackled their fear of heights head on on the Giant Swing!!

Group 1 have had a fantastic day going on The Giant Swing, taking part in archery and tackling the assault course!!
