Our International Women's Day Longsword Workshop is underway at the Royal Armouries ⚔️

A really fun Maille Making workshop and talk on the history of Maille with Phil Parkes Maille at the Royal Armouries today 👏

In honour of International Women's Day we are running a Taster Session on Sunday 8th March 2026 at the Royal Armouries, in Leeds.

This session is only open to cisgender females and those identifying as female who are keen to try their hand at what we do at KDF Leeds.

International Women's Day: Longsword Taster Session Workshop is designed to introduce the body mechanics of western martial arts, focusing on the use of the German Longsword

We are thrilled to announce that we have organised a Longsword Taster workshop, in conjunction with the Medieval Society at the University of Leeds, on the 14th February.

We will be inviting those on our waiting list to attend this session.
