We are delighted to confirm that Friday, 13th June will be a dress down day ahead of our much-anticipated Summer Fair (as noted in the school newsletter).

This year, the school and the PTFA are introducing a colour-themed donation for KS1 and KS2 students. Each year group has been assigned a colour, and we would love for students to bring in donations that match their colour, although, kindly no alcohol please:

Red - Year 1
Orange - Year 2
Yellow - Year 3
Green - Year 4
Blue - Year 5
Purple - Year 6
If we could please request children in Nursery and Reception bring in a prize for the chocolate tombola that would be very much appreciated.

Your support helps make the Summer Fair a fantastic event for everyone!

Additionally, Summer Fair Raffle tickets will soon be making their way home in student book bags. We have an incredible selection of prizes available this year, including:

On Thursday 22nd May, the PTFA will be hosting "Foodie Thursday"!
Due to popular demand, the order of Krispy Kreme donuts has been doubled! The PTFA looks forward to seeing you on the playground after school to enjoy a £1 glazed donut!
All funds raised from this event will go to support the school and its refurbishment of the ICT suite!
If your child will be in Hutsters and doesn't want to miss out, please send into school £1 in a sealed envelope with your child's name and 'Foodie Thursday' written on the front.

The PTFA have a wonderful Easter themed basket which we'll be raffling off to raise money for school and the new IT suite!

In the basket, we have lots of goodies:
*large Galaxy chocolate egg
*smaller chocolate eggs
*mini eggs in rabbit cups
*Easter painting kits
*Chalk colouring eggs
*multiple Easter sweeties

Tickets are 20p each or a strip for £1.

The PTFA will be on the playground after school selling tickets with the aim of drawing a winner at the start of May!

Good day to all parents and carers!

As the weather starts to warm up, the PTFA are proud to bring back Foodie Friday!

This month, we'll be bringing into school glazed Krispy Kreme donuts for children and adults to enjoy after school on Friday 28th March. These will be sold in the playground (on the wooden benches).
If your child attends Hutsters, please can they bring £1 in a sealed envelope with their name on and we will do our best to ensure these children don't miss out.

We’re excited to remind you that tickets for our Family Charity Race Night are now available! Join us for a fun-filled evening and help support Temple Newsam Halton Primary PTFA.

Event Details:
📅 Date: Friday, 28th February 2025
⏰ Time: From 6:30 PM (First race at 7:30 PM)
📍 Venue: The Brown Cow Function Room

🎟 How to Get Your Tickets: Tickets will be on sale at Pinfold Lane playground on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 15:15 - 15:30.

💰 Ticket Prices:

£4 per adult

£2 per child

£10 for a family ticket (2 adults & 2 children)

🐴 Sponsor a Horse! If you can't attend the event but would still like to support, you can sponsor a horse for just £5 – and you even get to name the horse!

🏦 Bank Transfer Option:

This will be a fun, family event ran by volunteers associated with the PTFA. Parents/carers will remain responsible for their own children. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive by PTFA or host staff may result in your removal from the premises. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Tomorrow after school we are holding a "Foodie Friday" to help raise money for the school.

If your child is attending Hutsters after school, and you want them to purchase something, please send them with money in an envelope, with their name and class clearly written on it, and the words FOODIE FRIDAY on the front. This way we can make sure they get to buy something.

Each item will be £1 and we will have Bhaji's and doughnuts.
