Grande Família is a critically acclaimed 12-piece chamber-jazz ensemble led by award-winning
guitarist and composer Billy Marrows. Fusing contemporary jazz with funk, folk, Brazilian and
classical influences, their infectiously melodic sound draws inspiration from the likes of Wayne
Shorter, Hermeto Pascoal, Gil Evans and Loose Tubes, creating “an exhilaratingly original
sound…at once intimate and expansive”

The student band will be led by Jazz Composition student Josh Pattison, where he will be showcasing some of the new music in his soon to be released album!

There will be the jam after as usual, make sure to come along as it’s the last one of the year!! 🎷🎹🎶

Starting the new semester with B-Side on the 6th of February!!

We will have the incredible playing a set. The line up consists of and on electric guitar, on bass and on drums.

Di-Cysgodion explore rock roots combined with jazz improvisation.

We will also have the incredible .selwood quintet playing a set afterwards make sure to check it out!!

As always there will be a jazz jam from 9pm onwards, make sure to bring your horns and get involved! 🎷🎺
