Chestra Trio at Horsforth Music Centre Saturday 9th May 2026 10am.
Caroline, Del and Jane are professional musicians and teachers who enjoy sharing their musical enthusiasm with children!

Witness their enthusiasm at the ArtForms Horsforth Music Centre as they play many instruments including harp, piano, violin, viola, flute, piccolo, clarinet, saxophones, recorders, guitar and mandolin. Their sessions go beyond music and encompass storytelling, language, cultural and social development, design and other expressive arts, physical education, history and science.

This is a pay-as-you-feel event, with a suggested donation of £2.50 per person.

📅 Audition dates: Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th June 2026

👥 Who can apply?: Auditions are open to all secondary-aged students 11–18 years old who will be at, or starting, secondary school in September 2026. As a guide, applicants are generally around Grade 6 standard or above.

We are delighted to share with you that applications are now open for the auditions for all instruments for the City of Leeds Youth Orchestra and the City of Leeds Youth Wind Orchestra for September 2026.
Auditions will be held on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June 2026.
The auditions are open to all secondary students aged between 11 and 18 years old (You must be at or starting secondary school in September 2026), so please do share this with anyone you know who may be interested and meets the required criteria. (Generally, you must be approximately grade 6 and above).
