Monk Fryston Preschool is a safe, friendly & stimulating environment where children from two years old to primary school age, can learn through play and self initiated activities. Monk Fryston Pre-School was established 45 years ago, to provide a safe, friendly and stimulating environment where children aged 2 to primary school age can learn through play and self initiated activity. In January 201

5, Ofsted gave Monk Fryston Pre-School an Outstanding rating in all areas - the highest possible rating. We have a small, well established team of dedicated staff, who all have many years of experience in childcare. As well as the indoor main hall, we have a safe, enclosed outdoor play area and garden where the children can enjoy themselves. As we are very popular, we highly recommend that you register your child as soon as possible for a place at our Pre-School. Please see the application page for further details. Today we said goodbye to our school leavers. For many of our familes today is the end of an era. Over the last 6 years we have been lucky enough to care for many siblings and to know that this time it is the last goodbye has made it very emotional! I know the children are more than ready for their next adventure and I’m forever thankful to be part of their early learning journey.

A special thank you from me, to the amazing team who make Preschool what it is today. The love and care you show the children is outstanding.

Thank you to all our families for your support and trusting us to care for your babies. We couldn’t do it with out you.

Have a brilliant summer holidays and we will see you in September.

Over the last couple of weeks Laura, Alanna and Ellen have spent Monday evenings furthering their Makaton skills by completing the level 2 workshop.

Makaton has been a huge benefit to the setting and the children love learning new communication skills, especially the sign of the week 🙂
